App Studio not running on mac 10.11.6

I have an older mac at work running the above OS version. ( it won’t upgrade to the latest version ).

App studio just shows the menu bar then disappears. No crash screen.

Any ideas where to start tracing the problem.

There’s a log file you can check here:
~/library/Application Support/App Studio/logs

Let’s try deleting the preferences:

On a Mac, you need to delete

~/Library/Preferences/App Studio Preferences
