Emojis not appearing properly in Version 8

I use emojis extensively in my app, but since version 8 they are no longer appearing properly on the forms.

Thanks - we’ll fix this.

Here’s a workaround until we can get a real fix:

Use the html hex equivalent of the emoji. So, to show a Smiley, you would have Smiley 😀

I see the new release (8.0.1.0) doesn’t fix this problem - any guess on when it might be?

Hopefully this week. It almost made it into the last build.
