I have an os 5 android phone and an os 4.2.2 phone which ,when apk was tapped, chosen apk installer or pack installer, shows this err msg:“there was a problem while parsing the package”(note:it says package, not apk).while nsb appstudio readme stated : min android version: 3.3.just fyi
I have a os 7 device which runs fine with apk.
Searching online, display,below:
Android OS 6 uses the Package Installer system app to handle both installing apps from the Google Play Store and manually installing APK files from other sources. An APK is simply the file format, while the Package Installer is the system component that reads and installs these files.
