Animated sprites

Heyho!

Wondering if there is some kind of control for animated sprites…

I am mean a sprite that consists of several single images that are used for an animation - like a running person or so…

I could use animated PNG (APNG) or WebP - but I need to have control over the spped of the animation.

Maybe someone has an idea…

There is a Sprite sample, but it uses an animated gif.

You could control it yourself by having multiple images which you update, but I’m not sure how consistently smooth the animation would be.
