Could you please comment on Bootstrap 5 and give us an idea how it will affect us if we are using AppStudio?

We’re looking at BootStrap 5 support in a future release, probably AppStudio 9.
We have no intention of dropping support for BootStrap 4. It will remain a fully supported option for AppStudio users as long as Bootstrap themselves support it. (Note that BootStrap 3 is also still supported).
Bootstrap 5 does not appear to have as many changes as Bootstrap 4 did.
Will a conversion tool for BS4 to BS5 be part of Appstudio?
If it is possible to make one (and it looks likely) we will do so.
Any movement on this, or has the idea been scraped?

Has there been any change on status on this now that Bootstrap 5 and AppStudio 9 have been out for awhile? It would be nice to be able to update my existing BS4 program to BS5

Here’s Bootstrap’s official stance on Bootstrap 4:
Bootstrap 4 is not going to stop working anytime soon, so there’s no rush.
We’ve been supporting Bootstrap 5 for more than a year now, so it’s solid. It will be some work to move to the new version. You might want to assess that before making any decisions.
