When you edit the package.json it changes the format of your json file to be listed on one line.
I’ve seen that happen too. I think it’s unrelated to the new release - have not been able to reproduce it, however.
I think you’re right I have seen it in previous versions. Not sure if around using Apply and OK buttons.
