I was in the middle of my development cycle when all of a sudden I am no longer able to build my app via VoltBuilder which I have been building all morning and afternoon. I get the following message:
Error -1 returned from VoltBuilder: Build failed: 402 Payment Required.
Yet, I am autopaying via my credit card and have paid up until August 17, 2026 (which is the renewal date). Please help me resolve this issue.

In AppStudio’s Preferences, in the VoltBuilder tab, do you have anything in API Credentials? If so, try blanking that out.
Yes, the API credential was filled with my key that I have been using for years. I did blank it out and now I am able to compile again. Was somehthing changed on the VoltBuilder side so that the API Credential is no longer required?
Yes, that’s exactly when happened. Starting with Version 9, basic VoltBuilder was built into the standard subscription.
