macBook Pro AppStudio Closing

I have a MacBook Pro M4 computer (Sequoia v5.7.1) and have AppStudio v9.2.2.1 installed. I’m experiencing something unusual that someone might have encountered and could help me figure out. It’s not a major issue, but it is annoying.

I have a second monitor on my MacBook and when I slide the AppStudio program from the laptop screen to the second monitor, the program closes (terminates) when the cursor crosses from the mac screen to the second monitor. None of my other programs do this so I don’t know if it is my computer’s configuration or perhaps something about AppStudio. ???

Thanks Rodney

Yes - this has come up before.

The solution follows. The bug is in one of the libraries we use. They have fixed it, but we’ll have to wait for the release before we can build it into AppStudio.

George,

I downloaded and installed version 9.1.5.1 to replace the previous version. However, this version does not run properly on my M4. When I open the program, the splash screen appears, followed by an “outdated version” message box. When I click OK, the program closes immediately. When I disconnect from the Internet, the message box does not appear, but the program still terminates after the splash screen closes.

I have reinstalled version 9.2.2.1, and the application is now functioning normally. It runs and operates as expected, though it does close when moving the window to a second monitor.

Once the second monitor issue has been resolved, I will update to the newer version.

Thank you for your assistance and suggestions.

We just uploaded 9.3.1 - it should fix this problem. Can you give it a try?
