I don’t know how broad of an issue this is… If I have a space in the name of a sound file, It will not play with PlaySound. It will import into the project just fine but not play. Removing the space makes all the difference. I looked at the documentation on the Project Explorer and didn’t see any discussion about the requirements for filenames. It’s probably good coding practice to avoid them in general since it’s hard to predict what code will be processing this information downstream but it’s hard to remember to do this since its allowed in Windows filenames. Project names can have spaces. It would be good to have the naming requirements described somewhere in the documentation (early on).
I’ve logged a bug report for this. In the meantime, please do not use spaces in the filename.
